Economic impact assessment of a key strategic asset
New Economy carried out a detailed review of published documents (including white papers, research studies and academic papers) and a research survey of local businesses and key agencies, to assess the economic impact of Manchester Airport on the local economy.
Evaluation of development proposals for The Corridor, Manchester
New Economy identified, assessed and evaluated the key project proposals in Manchester’s Oxford Road Corridor area, to identify priority areas for focus and lobbying for investment.
Leakage of professional services work to London
New Economy carried out a detailed survey of regional businesses to identify the extent of and reasons for the leakage of professional services business from local area to firms outside the region, with most leakage to London and the South East.
