Employment Land
Employment land needs are changing in Greater Manchester. New market conditions require new ways of thinking and new solutions if we are to meet the demands of inward investors and local businesses seeking to expand.
Work has been commissioned, led by the Business Leadership Council, working with MIDAS, New Economy and the Planning and Housing Commissions to determine the extent to which sites in Greater Manchester currently meet the needs of inward investors seeking to relocate and local companies wanting new accommodation.
Consultants Jones Lang La Salle are currently completing this large sites study working with the local authorities and private sector partners. A key element of this work is to determine where there would be inward investment interest if sites were available.
By helping us better understand market needs, the findings of this work will feed into policy development work.
