Unemployment Monitor Release
Today, New Economy released its monthly Unemployment Monitor, a high-level report on the state of unemployment in Greater Manchester. The Unemployment Monitor is part of a wider range of products that will be rolled out throughout the year, and will be accessible on-line.

Unemployment Monitor – December 2009
The most recent Unemployment Monitor highlights the decreases in JSA claimants and increases in job opportunities across Greater Manchester. The claimant rate fell this month to 81,249 (5.0%), whilst the number of vacancies reported to Jobcentre Plus increased to 22,134.
