Stockport Problem Solving Court: An evaluation of the pilot scheme

Building on a model of community justice developed in Red Hook, New York and more recently piloted in Salford and Merseyside, the Stockport Problem Solving Court pilot was established as a joint court and probation initiative supported by the Community Safety Partnership in autumn 2010. The pilot phase of the scheme ran from February 2011 to March 2012 and aimed to provide an approach that recognised and systematised the shared ownership of crime prevention across partner agencies.
